So I made this soup again for dinner last night, this time with a ripe avocado, and less lime juice. The avocado tasted better this time around in the soup, though I’m still not sure I’d go out of my way for the avocado. Less lime juice definitely helped with the flavor, though I would go with more chili powder next time.
My boyfriend and I also had some dinner buns with the soup last night. This is definitely a bun/bread soup – the buns soaked up the broth very well and they tasted delicious!
