Balsamic Grilled Chicken with Spicy Honey Bacon Glaze

I needed something quick, easy, and delicious to take to a Bring Your Own Meat BBQ at a friend’s house a week ago; I had found this recipe on Pinterest a long time ago and finally decided to give it a shot. It has minimal ingredients but tastes amazing, and was very easy to prep and take to our friend’s house. This is one I would highly recommend you try, especially now that it is grilling season.

Balsamic Grilled Chicken with Spicy Honey Bacon Glaze
Prep Time: 1 hour

Cook Time: 10 minutes

Serves 4

4 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless

1/3 cup balsamic vinegar

1/2 cup olive oil

3 tbsp brown sugar

2 tbsp steak seasoning

4 slices bacon, chopped

3/4 cup honey

3 tbsp Worchestershire sauce

1 tbsp hot sauce (I used Sambal Oelek)

Combine balsamic vinegar, oil, sugar, and steak seasoning in a bowl. Put chicken into a ziploc and pour marinade over. Refrigerate for minimum 1 hour, longer if you want. Cook chicken on grill or barbecue, basting once at the beginning with marinade. Discard remaining marinade.

Meanwhile, cook bacon pieces in a frying pan. Remove cooked bacon with a slotted spoon. Add honey, Worchestershire, and hot sauce to pan.  Let simmer over low heat for a moment or two until thick glaze forms. Add bacon pieces back in and mix together.

Remove chicken from BBQ and top with glaze. Serve and enjoy!
